Seetha Ramam, a 2022 period romance drama, has become quite popular since its release almost four years ago. Starring Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles, it brought them immense fame and praise from fans, so when a new picture of the two lead actors playing the roles of Sita and Ram surfaced on the internet this week, the audience couldn’t keep calm about the possibilities.
Sita Ramam 2 possibility being explored as new image makes rounds on internet
A new picture of Mrunal Thakur and Dulquer Salmaan standing in the rain has surfaced on the internet. In this, the character of Ram was shown holding an umbrella over Sita’s head. Confetti was flying all around them along with the rain and both were looking at each other with love filled eyes. Seeing this possible Sita Ram canon imagery was enough to surprise fans. Many speculated that this was a new collaboration between the two actors and had nothing to do with Sita Ram. Others were hopeful that a sequel to the popular film would finally hit theaters.
However, some were highly skeptical and wanted to protect the original work by condemning any possibility of a second film, insisting that one run was enough to tell the story and there was no need to say anything more. This is indeed true as the film presented a very beautiful ending which was praised by many people. One thing to note is that this picture is just a fan’s wish coming out with an edit. The makers have not officially announced anything about the possible sequel. An ex-user asked the makers not to touch the ‘Ratna’ i.e. Sita Ram.
While speculations continued on the internet, it became clear that the demand for projects like Sita Ram has not diminished, perhaps a much-needed tidbit for fans of the film. Since the release of this project, the followers of Mrunal Thakur and Dulquer Salmaan have also increased and their onscreen chemistry is shining brighter than ever.
