The two films released on Diwali, Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, have achieved excellent results on the first day and both the films have together earned Rs 70 crore on the first day. The collective business is the biggest first day figure in the history of Hindi cinema, surpassing the previous best film ‘Jawaan’ which had opened around Rs 64 crore. Leading the Diwali 2024 battle is Singham Again, which has collected Rs 36.00 to 38.00 crore on the opening day as per initial estimates, which is likely to be higher based on actual figures from the mass belt.

The Rajhans chain, which owns a large chunk of properties in Gujarat, has collected Rs 1.35 crore nett for Singham Again. On the other hand, MovieMax has earned Rs 80 lakh for Singham Again. Keeping all these ratios in mind, the first day business is expected to be between Rs 38 to Rs 40 crore.

The Kartik Aryan-led horror comedy has performed exceptionally well in CI, West Bengal, Rajasthan and Delhi UP and has emerged as a career best film for the actor. Rajhans has earned Rs 1.05 crore for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, while MovieMax has earned Rs 80 lakh for the feature.
Keeping all the proportions in mind, the first day business of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 seems to be between Rs 30 crore to Rs 31 crore, which is an excellent start for an Anees Bazmee directorial, especially in a beast-like clash like scenario. Both the films have done a combined business of around Rs 70 crore and it is expected that on Saturday and Sunday both the films will take the three-day business in North India to Rs 200 crore.
