Advance booking of Singham Again has already started on select screens. With just two days left for its release, the film has sold around 39,751 tickets for over 5000 shows in India, earning around Rs 1.29 crore without blocking seats.

It seems to be a slow start for the Rohit Shetty directorial. Of course, one reason for this is that many multiplexes and independent single screens have not yet opened their advance bookings for the film. However, it cannot be denied that the film needs to ramp up its pre-sales business ahead of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which is comparatively performing far better and is ahead at the box office.

Including the figures of blocked seats, till 12 noon on Wednesday, Singham Again earned Rs 1.88 crore from advance booking. The police drama has so far recorded its pre-sales business only from select PVR-INOX properties and a few independent screens.

Meanwhile, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 leads the business with a total gross of Rs 3.18 crore (including blocked seats). The Kartik Aryan-starrer has sold around 73,394 tickets for around 5,071 shows across the country. The number is going to increase after advance booking opens everywhere. Currently, the film has been released only on select independent single screens.

The race is on between Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again to get maximum screens. It is believed that by the end of Thursday, the films will enjoy a screen distribution ratio of 57:43 across India, with a higher number of screens dedicated to Singham Again.

The film, which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Shweta Tiwari and Dayanand Shetty, is set to hit the screens on November 1.
