Singer Aubrey O’Day on rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ arrest: Feeling validated

Singer Aubrey O’Day expressed relief and recognition following the arrest of her former boss Sean “Diddy” Combs on sex trafficking charges. Combs has been charged with racketeering, forced sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was arrested on September 16 And he was charged with sex trafficking. Singer and reality television personality Aubrey O’Day reacted to her former boss’ arrest and wrote that she felt a sense of legality. She had long tried to draw attention to Diddy’s abusive nature.

O’Day called it a victory for all women in a post shared on X. “The purpose of justice is to provide closure and give us the space to create a new chapter. Women never get that. I feel validated. Today is a victory for women all over the world, not just mine.” She concluded by saying, “Things are finally changing.”

O’Day also reshared a journalist’s post reminding people of her efforts to draw attention to Diddy’s temper.

“For years @AubreyODay has been trying to draw attention to Diddy’s abusive nature and warn people that he is dangerous. For years. In return for her courage she has been threatened, terrorised and intimidated (sic),” Yashar Ali wrote. Sharing the post, O’Day commented, “He did worse to me. And thank you Yashir for this post. Thank you for standing by me and believing in me.”

Diddy allegedly reassigned Bad Boy publishing rights to silence Aubrey O’Day. She previously alleged that Diddy tried to assign publishing rights to Bad Boy Records artists to buy her silence.

Meanwhile, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has pleaded not guilty in court to the charges against him. He has been denied bail, so he will remain in federal custody. He has been charged with forced sex trafficking and fraudand transportation for engaging in prostitution.
