On June 5, 2025, the thug Life starring Kamal Haasan and Silambarson TR has been slated to hit the big screen. Next to its release, Simbu was seen with the rest of the team and admitted how their early days were nervous on the set.
The actor revealed how Kamal Haasan was one who helped him easily and made him comfortable. In his words, “I have previously worked with Mani Ratnam, but it is working with Kamal Sir for the first time. I should thank Mani Sir for this, and more than acting with Kamal Sir, working both of them, I felt that I should do good work and focus on my acting.”
“I was a little nervous in the beginning days, but Kamal sir made me feel comfortable, and so Mani sir gave me rest,” Simbu said.
Adding more to the details of the film, Silambarson TR expressed how he knew that the song Jingucha would do well among the audience. The actor told how he felt amazing dance with Kamal Haasan, because everyone knows how great he is on it.
Talking about the thug life, the upcoming film is a gangster actioner directed by Mani Ratnam, who wrote the script with Kamal Haasan. The story features a gangster, Rangaraya Sakathivale, who adopts a young child, Amarran.
After years in his life as a father and son, Sakthivedel is considered dead, his foster son is considered a conspirator. Now, in the anger of revenge, Sakartwell wants to settle the score, leading to the game of death.
With Kamal Haasan and Straw in Lead Rolls, the film stars Trisha Krishnan, Abhirami, Aishwarya Lectmi, Ashok Selvan, Sanya Malhotra, Jozo George, Nasar, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, and more.
On the work front, the Silmbaron TR is the next set to start work on its film, which is temporarily given the title of Str59, with co -Lids with Dragon fame Qayedu Lohar and Santhanam. In addition, actor will be involved for a fictional film with director Ashwath Marimuthu, who will play the role of “God of Love”.
