Actor Siddharth has joined the Netflix and Long Family Drama ‘Unannounced Prithvi’. He will be contrary to actor Freida Pinto in the new show made by John Wells and Madhuri Shekar.

The ‘unacceptable earth’ is a culturally lively drama, about love, desire and belonging to a tight-oriented Indian American community. It investigates the life of an aristocratic and island Indian American community of Cambridge, MA (Massachusetts). When a star-par romance comes to light between a dedicated wife and her long-lost love, a condemnable relationship arises, and new war lines are drawn into this intensity interpretable immigrant community.

Siddharth has a career of over two decades in many film industries including Tamil, Telugu and Hindi cinema. He has donated several caps as an actor, screenwriter, singer and producer. As a polyglot in 7 languages, he made his debut with the Tamil film ‘Boys’ (2003).

The actor later shot for fame with his grounded portrayal in the BAFTA-Nammary patriotic-drama ‘Rang de Basanti’ (2007). The film was directed by Rakish Omprakash Mehra and included actors Aamir Khan, Ellis Pattern, Sharman Joshi, Atul Kulkarni, Kunal Kapoor, Soha Ali Khan, R Madhavan and other lead roles.

The 46 -year -old was last seen in the play ‘3bhk’ (2025) of the upcoming era of director Shri Ganesh. The film also included actors R Sarathkumar, Devayani, Mita Raghunath, Chathra J Pickle and others. He will be seen next time in actor Kamal Haasan’s ‘Indian 3’.

Freida made her acting debut with director Danny Boyle’s Oscar winner ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ (2008). He has acted in many American and British films and television performances.

Principal photography for ‘unscrupulous Earth’ begins in August 2025 and lasts by the end of the year. The series directed by John Wales and Ritesh Batra will also be directed. Erica Saleh, Erin Jonto, and Nisha Ganatra are credited as an executive manufacturer.

Netflix has launched eight episodes of the show.
