Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan are going to Saudi Arabia soon, and it’s not for any film. The prestigious Red Sea International Film Festival (RSIFF) is set to take place in December 2024, and it has been announced that the brother-sister duo will be joining the star-studded lineup of global celebrities to grace the In Conversation segment.

The fourth edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia from December 5 to 14, 2024. Speakers at these conversations include Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan. They join previously announced speakers Egyptian actress Mona Zaki and American actress Viola Davis.

Hollywood actress Eva Longoria is also in the lineup, as well as this year’s jury head Spike Lee. Filmmaker Michael Mann, Egyptian writer and director Mohamed Sami, and Turkish stars Engin Altan Duzyatan and Nurgul Yesilç are also among the speakers. Actor Andrew Garfield will speak at the festival’s Souk Talent event.

Through the festival’s In Conversation With and Souk Talent strands, these celebrities will share insights about their work and passions with cinema lovers and industry executives. The In Conversation With segment will be held for the first time at the Red Sea Film Foundation’s new Cultural Square headquarters in Al Balad.

In a statement, Jomana Al Rashid, chair of the Red Sea Film Foundation, called the lineup of speakers at 2024 ‘extraordinary.’ “These legends, whose extraordinary careers have spanned both sides of the camera, have deeply inspired generations of audiences, storytellers and cinemagoers,” he said.

The Chairman expressed, “It is an honor to provide a platform at our new home of film in Al Balad, where they can delve into their artistic journeys, share insights on their most cherished projects, and those inspirations. who have shaped their craft. ” He said he was eagerly anticipating what stories speakers would bring to the festival this year.

Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor is currently shooting for his upcoming film Love & War, while Kareena Kapoor Khan was recently seen in the cop universe installment Singham Again.
