Actor Shweta Menon on Tuesday opened up to assuming the first female president of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA). She was speaking in a session, titled ‘The Changemakers: Safe Space and Gender Parity in Cinema’, 2 days of India’s 2 days ending 2 days South 2025.

She then went to remember her modeling days and share the stage with Aishwarya Rai and Sushmita Sen. The actor then expressed the reason behind his absence from films for some time. Finally, he touched the issue of fixed work hours and paid equality. “I have always admitted that the material works. I have done many of these women-oriented films.
