Shruti Haasan’s poster in Lokesh-Rajinikanth’s ‘Coolie’, looks very beautiful with a shovel in her hand
Director Lokesh Kanagaraj released the character poster of actress Shruti Haasan from his upcoming film ‘Coolie’. The Tamil pan-India film stars Rajinikanth in the lead role.

‘Coolie’ director Lokesh Kanagaraj on Friday shared the official poster of Shruti Haasan as Preeti opposite Rajinikanth in the film. In the poster, the actress looks very serious holding a shovel in her hand. She is wearing a simple suit, has parted her hair in the middle and is wearing a bindi.
The poster comes a day after the director roped in Telugu star Nagarjuna as Simon. He shared Shruti’s poster on social media platform X and wrote, “So happy to have @shrutihaasan on board as Preeti in Coolie. Welcome.”
Shruti, who is sharing screen space with Rajinikanth for the first time, thanked Lokesh for welcoming her enthusiastically. She replied to the director’s tweet, “Thank you Lokesh!! So happy to be a part of this.”

‘Coolie’ appears to be a big budget film which already has many prominent faces in its cast. Apart from Rajinikanth, Shruti and Nagarjuna, the film also stars Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir and Mahendran in important roles.
There are strong reports of actor Aamir Khan doing a cameo in the film. However, nothing has been confirmed about this news yet. If the actor joins the team of ‘Coolie’, he will be reuniting with Thalaivar after 30 years, his last screen outing was ‘Aatank Hi Aatank’, which also starred Juhi Chawla in the lead role.
The final release date of the film is yet to be revealed, while the shooting began in July this year. Interestingly, fans were expecting ‘Coolie’ to be a part of Lokesh’s cinematic universe, called LCU, and expected Rajinikanth to make his big entry in it. However, the director later revealed that it is a stand-alone film that has no connection with his cinematic universe, which includes titles such as ‘Kaithi’, ‘Vikram’ and ‘Leo’.
