Actor Shruti Haasan recently talked about her experience of working in Bollywood and South film industry. He mentioned that South stars are more humble in Bollywood than his contemporaries.
Haasan, recently in an interview Hollywood reporterSaid that the South film actor is humble because he is afraid that, ‘Saraswati’s Hat Sir to Uth Jayaga (Goddess Saraswati will withdraw her blessings).
He further said, “I mean, it is difficult to talk about being pure in my house or anything like that, because my father does not believe in anything like that. But when I started working, I focused on those small things, such as a morning being a coconut or a picture of a deity sitting in the corner.”
“What was on the set and what was not allowed, and the actors and their employees were always very aware of how they present themselves.
“We are not a drain of any kind; Drain is a good film, a good script or even a good song. We just get that art, and we are going to spread it outward. I am going to spread it outwards. Learning music long ago in my life and working with people for hours in the end taught you to play your bits just to play your bits, do not try to cross someone else, and to be humble.”
The actor has portrayed in Hindi films like ‘Luck’ (2009), ‘Dil Toh Bacha Hai Ji’ (2011) and ‘D-Day’ (2013).
Shruti was recently seen in actor Rajinikanth’s ‘Cool’, directed by Lokesh Kanugraj. The film was released on August 14, 2025.
