Musicians Shreya Ghoshal, AR Rahman, Ilaiyaraaja and Badshah and many others will perform at the Mysuru Youth Dasara this year. The 2024 edition of Yuva Dussehra is a five-day mega event that began with a performance by Shreya Ghoshal on Sunday, October 6.

Over a lakh people gathered to watch Shreya’s performance and they were all left wanting more. Shreya took the audience on an emotional journey with her music by singing the song ‘Sunn Raha Hai..’ from Aashiqui 2 and her other hit songs. He entertained the local crowd by singing Kannada songs like ‘Ondu Male Billu’ from the film Chakravarthy, ‘Saluthilave’ from the film Kotigobba 2.

On the second day of the event, Bollywood’s Dhvani Bhanushali and renowned Karnataka music composer Ravi Basrur, who composed music for the KGF series, took center stage. On October 9, Academy Award winner AR Rahman will be the highlight of the night. After cultural performances by Mysuru artistes, AR Rahman is scheduled to take the stage from 7 pm onwards.

On the last day of the mega-event, which is October 10, Padma Vibhushan Ilaiyaraaja will be on the main stage. After cultural performances by Kannada cinema artistes and independent musicians, Ilaiyaraaja is scheduled to perform from 7 pm onwards.

Mysore Youth Dussehra 2024 has got off to a heady start at the sprawling 100-acre venue near Uttanahalli on the outskirts of Mysore.
