Actress Shraddha Kapoor’s ambitious Naagin trilogy, which was reportedly shelved, now has its script ready. Filmmaker Nikhil Dwivedi recently shared a picture of the film’s script on social media, which has sent Shraddha’s fans into a frenzy. In November last year, Dwivedi had exclusively confirmed to India Today that the script of Naagin was ready.
The script photo revealed that Naagin is described as an “epic story of love and sacrifice” and is “created and developed by Saffron MagicWorks.” Dwivedi shared the script with the caption, “Makar Sankranti and finally…”
In an exclusive interview with India Today, Nikhil shared details about the much-awaited film. He said, “Finally, the script is ready now. It took us three years to write it. We’ve reworked the entire script three times, and now I can say it’s finally ready.”
Speaking about why he decided to make Naagin, Nikhil explained, “First of all, it’s a completely new subject. It has no relation to the previous films. The reason I made this film is that the Indian Folktales are really very rich in ideas. We get so excited when a spider bites a man and he becomes Spider-Man, but we see a woman turn into a snake, give us a chance. , and we it Put that on its head, and you’ll see quite a supernatural and different movie.”

The filmmaker revealed that Shraddha Kapoor was his first choice for the lead role in Naagin. He said that Shraddha was excited about this project.
“She was excited. She was the first one to come on board. I first approached her with the idea, and she was sold. She can’t wait to start shooting, now that the script is ready. We just “Finding it out.” How to take it on floors as quickly as possible,” he shared.
Naagin is expected to go on floors in 2025.
