Actor Karthik Aryan is allegedly set to play the role of an Air Force pilot in the upcoming film ‘Captain India’. The film will mark his first cooperation with director Shimit Amin. Amin first directed films like ‘AB Tak Chhappan’ and ‘Chak Day! India’.

A report by Pinkvilla Said, “Karthik and Shimit have been talking since last year, jamming many topics to find a possible cooperation. When Karthik introduced Shimit to the world of ‘Captain India’. The filmmaker found it an attractive story.”

He quoted a source as saying, “Shimit has worked as a tight script for ‘Captain India’. He is fully prepared to take a film on Floor with Karthik in the first half of 2026. When the filmmaker narrated the story to Karthik, the actor also bowled by the script,” the source said.

Real -life events allegedly inspired the film’s plot. Shooting will take place in India and Morocco, a team has already held a recurrence to finalize places.

Earlier, filmmaker Hansal Mehta was allegedly slate to direct the film under the RSVP banner. However, the project eventually found its way to Amin. The schedule of the film has been scheduled from March to July 2026 and can be released in theaters in the first half of 2027.

Meanwhile, Karthik is currently shooting for his upcoming romantic film ‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’. Ananya Pandey’s co-conclusion, it is slaughtered for release on Valentine’s Day Weekend in 2026. He will also be seen in front of Sreelela in another romantic film.

After these, Karthik will start filming ‘Nagzila’ directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba.
