Once an actor, Shilpa opened his transformative life journey after his departure from acting. After marrying the banker Aparesh Ranjit, the couple moved from Netherlands to New Zealand. In search of something, Shilpa enrolled in a hairdressing course – something she felt was still associated with her acting days.

Speaking on Gauhar Khan’s podcast MaunoranjanShirodkar shared, “To keep myself busy, I did a hairdressing course in New Zealand. It was somehow associated with acting – with makeup and beauty and all that,” she shared. He even worked in a salon for two months, but the hours of demand did not align with his newly married life.

Without corporate experience, Shilpa decided to pive once again. “I told my husband,” Start me again, “he remembered. Asked what to include, his only instruction was, “Do not lie – just keep the truth, even SSC failed and my film work.” His honesty paid – he received two job proposals in a single day. He eventually took over a position as a credit controller in Dun & Bradustratit, who stepped into a completely unfamiliar world for him.

After a long time, Shilpa began to feel unusually tired. A friend jokingly suggested a pregnancy test – and it came true. This was followed by another life-changing phase that was filled with joy and challenges.

Her pregnancy came up with complications, which included insulin injections and weight ups and rashes, but she faced grace. Over time, Shilpa’s priorities moved. Her daughter, Anushka’s birth marked a significant turn – pulling her away from the public’s eyes because she embraced motherhood completely.

The actor, known for his memorable performance in Hindi cinema during the 80s and 90s, recently returned to the limelight after appearing on ‘Bigg Boss 18’. On the show, he shared the screen with Vivian Dasena, Karan Veer Mehra, Chum Darng, Nyra Banerjee, Muskan Bamne and Ellis Kaushik.
