Actor Shilpa Shirodkar will appear in an important role in an upcoming supernatural drama, Jatadhara. The manufacturers recently unveiled the first appearing poster of Shirodkar, which introduced his character, Shobha, which was described as powerful and layered.

Speaking about his role, Shirodkar said, “I am very happy and thrilled to be a part of Jatadhara. This is a film that will take the audience to a supernatural and mysterious ride. The views are incredible, and the story will definitely give up an impact. Working with Prerna Arora is a joy. She is a pleasure. She is very detailed and emotional about the story.”

The actor said that portraying Shobha has been both challenging and rewarding. “My character is quite complex and complicated. I have put my heart and soul in bringing it to life. It seems amazing to play such a unique role, and I am excited to see it on the screen.”

Directed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal, the teaser of the film was unveiled on August 8, 2025. The film stars Sudhir Babu and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles.

‘Jatadhara’ has been built by Umesh Kumar Bansal, Shivin Narang, Aruna Aggarwal, Manna Arora, Shilpa Singhal and Nikhil Nanda. It is co-produced by Akshay Kejriwal and Kusum Arora, with Divya Vijay as a creative creator and Bhavini Goswami as a monitoring manufacturer. Music is by Zee Music Company
