Many people in the country celebrated Bhai Dooj on Sunday (3 October). This national festival symbolizes the lovely bond that brothers share with their sisters. So, on this occasion, Shilpa Shetty also got her children to do the puja and be a part of the fun. The actress also shared some glimpses from the celebrations with her children Viaan and Samisha.
Shilpa Shetty shared several pictures from her children Viaan and Samisha’s Bhai Dooj celebration on her Instagram. The photo album opens with a lovely image of a little girl standing in front of her brother with a puja thali in her hand. As per custom, he performed the rituals and in return, enjoyed sweets. The siblings hugged and posed for the camera as they looked lovely in the same colored outfits. While sharing the photo, the dearest mother wished everyone a “Happy Bhai Dooj”.

Earlier, in an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, Shilpa had said that she and her businessman husband Raj Kundra spend a lot of quality time with their children. The Life in a Metro actress told us that she has the opportunity to spend quality time with her children and give them the best. “We go on long vacations where there is a lot of quality time. We have dinner with them and also have breakfast. (We have breakfast and dinner with them.) So maybe because Raj and I are very middle class and we’ve had that kind of middle class upbringing, we want to give the best to our kids. Because we have the luxury to do that,” she said.
Talking about his childhood, the Phir Milenge star said that his mother Sunanda has had a deep influence on his life. She added, “I was telling someone that we thought our parents were working and we barely saw them. We saw them only on weekends because that was the only time we got a chance to be with them. He didn’t have a choice. We spend a lot of time with our children. (They had no choice. We spend a lot of time with our children).”
