Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra buy sports car worth Rs 3 crore after ED seizes property
Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra has recently bought a new luxury car worth Rs 3 crore. The couple’s assets worth Rs 97.79 crore have been seized in the Bitcoin fraud case.
Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra has bought a new green luxury car worth Rs 3 crore. In a video that has gone viral, the new car is seen arriving at Shilpa and Raj’s Juhu bungalow, in which Raj is seen getting out of the car with his son Viaan.
This new purchase has attracted attention as it comes at a time when the ED is seizing his properties, which include flats in Mumbai and Pune. The seizure was done under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA).
Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra have been under the scanner for the past few months as the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has seized assets worth Rs 97.79 crore in the bitcoin fraud case.
The ED alleged that Raj Kundra, along with others, collected huge sums of money amounting to Rs 6,600 crore from the public and promised a return of 10 per cent per month in the form of bitcoins.
