Valorie Curry’s character Firecracker may be late to the crazy superhero/villain party, but she quickly learns that the Seven is ruled by an anti-social dictator. However, despite discovering the truth behind the so-called superhero, Firecracker is trapped and has no way out. So Curry believes her character’s death is inevitable!

Curry’s character was introduced into the Seven in the show’s fourth season, and her initial journey was similar to that of Starlight (played by Erin Moriarty) in season one – with hopes and dreams of becoming the perfect superhero.
While Starlight saw the dark side of the organization and yet emerged stronger next season, fans are still yet to find out how Firecracker will survive under the pressure. According to the actress, her character’s death is imminent.
“I mean, I want to see her die. She’s going to be scared of a lot of people,” she told Screen Rant. “But I’m really curious to see how Firecracker behaves in a situation of desperation, now that she realizes she has very good reason to be scared of Homelander,” she added
Curry also explained that her character knows she is trapped in the organization and cannot get out without facing her own death. Unlike Starlight, Firecracker was a reckless girl and her obsession with Homelander led her to physical and moral degradation, leaving her tragically dead at the end of the season.
Curry says her character will go from being empowered to feeling frustrated
Firecracker started off season four on an eventful note as she was unaware of the organization’s internal toxic machinations. But after uncovering the truth, she would act more out of desperation and empowerment. “Season 5 seems like when, ostensibly, she’s empowered, I think there’s actually a lot of desperation in it,” she said.
Curry also feels her character is unpredictable. “That’s one thing you can count on with Firecracker. You have no idea what she’ll do next,” she said. Her character is the show’s perfect tragic queen because unlike the others, her fate was a result of her actions that were undeniably questionable.
Now, will her impulsive actions lead her to a horrible death or will she somehow survive? The last season of the show will unravel this mystery!
