Shehnaaz Gill says Bigg Boss changed her a lot, Sidharth Shukla taught maturity
Actress Shehnaaz Gill opens up about her experiences in ‘Bigg Boss 13’ and her relationship with late Sidharth Shukla. He highlights how Siddhartha’s teachings helped him mature and also reflects on their lasting influence.

Actress Shehnaaz Gill recalls her time in ‘Bigg Boss 13’ and the lessons she learned from the show. He also recalled how late actor Sidharth Shukla taught him maturity.
Shehnaz, in an interview with Ranveer Allahabadia Said for his YouTube channel, “That guy gave me maturity! After all that happened, I became mature. Otherwise I remain the same in Bigg Boss, I am the same, not a festival of any world, nothing. (He taught me maturity. After all this, I became mature. Otherwise I would have remained the same girl who was in Bigg Boss. Who didn’t care about anything else).”
Sidharth and Shehnaaz formed a deep bond while competing in ‘Bigg Boss 13’, becoming famous among fans as ‘SidNaaz’. Although they never officially confirmed their relationship, their bond was undeniable. Siddharth, who won the reality show in 2020, tragically passed away due to a heart attack on September 2, 2021, at the age of 40.
After Sidharth’s death, Shehnaaz released an emotional music video tribute titled ‘Tu Yahi Hai’. She also appeared on the sets of Bigg Boss 15 season finale and dedicated a special tribute to him. She also starred in the Hindi film ‘Thank You for Coming’ starring Bhumi Pednekar, Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila and Shibani Bedi.
Shehnaz played the lead role in the recently released Punjabi film ‘Ikk Kudi’. Directed by Amarjeet Saron, The film tells the story of an ordinary girl Whose parents are eager to get her married. When a match is finalized, she decides to test her would-be groom, leading him and his family into a series of hilarious and heart-touching incidents.
‘Ik Kudi’ was released theatrically on October 31, 2025.
