Shantnu & Nikhil presented a stellar Androgynous, Workwear-Meet-OCLENVIEWer Collection. Think: A male model who is running the ramp in all-sequinude trousers and owns the room in a tilated bandagla with a pinstriped, lucy-induced skirt with a woman.

In the new collection showcase of fashion designers Duo Shatonu and Nikhil in India Couture Week 2025, Star Power Shon Bryter compared to any other show.
Arjun Rampal, Jim Serb, Rajkumar Rao, Randeep Hooda, Fatima Sana Sheikh, Manushi Chillar, Zahan Kapoor, Vihaan Samat, and cricketer Mithali Raj captured the front line – and later, to support the ramp – designer brothers.

But for fashion enthusiasts, designers’ cynosure was equally Cynosure.
In ICW 2025, Shantnu & Nikhil presented a stellar Androgynous, Workwear-Meet-Ocationwear Collection. Think: A male model who is running the ramp in all-sequinude trousers and owns the room in a tilated bandagla with a pinstriped, lucy-induced skirt with a woman.

A collection of Shantnu & Nikhil was a recent departure from the general ICW Shaadi Staples (Lehengas, BlingTastic Sarees, and the groom-specific sherwanius). It doubled as a refreshing amalgam of sewn trousers, easily Bandgalas, the skirt again that you want to take to the boardroom, and the jackets you want to style in a hundred different ways.
Mainewear bowed into a high play this season. In a standout look, a flickering silver sheer kurta set was paired with matching pants, which was layered below a long, structured bhuscan. Sequin and Sparkle converted pinstrip pants into statement-makers, while looking like a swinging relationship, the cascading strands of shiny decades glowing from the shirt collar.

Women’swear, also, stained the sartorial lines of the penis with a striking mixture of silhouettes and styles. Pinstripd Lung-inspired skirt was paired with Achkans, while the statement ruled by the ruled shirts met the working trousers, which was at the top with a pearl-filled coat. Even the classic workwear appears – think crisp blazers, structured shirts, and pleated skirt – came with a fashionable turn, which was ornate in the detail of pearls, metal accents and corechar -level.

With this collection called ‘Metropolis’, designers wanted to disrupt the vocabulary of Indian Menswear. Well, they did this and how!
