Ashneer Grover defends himself after being taught by Salman Khan in Bigg Boss 18
Ashneer Grover shared a picture with Salman Khan, reiterating his respect for the actor and clarifying their previous conversation. The former Shark Tank India judge was schooled by Khan in Bigg Boss 18.

After apologizing to Salman Khan on Bigg Boss 18, former BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover defended his stance. Posting a photo with Khan, Grover wrote that the Weekend Ka Vaar episode would have received “great viewership”. Let us tell you, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor questioned Grover regarding the comments made about him on the podcast. This was related to an old brand ambassador agreement established between Khan and Grover’s former company.

After this he gave some hints praising Khan. It read, “Salman is a great host and actor. Salman knows what works in Bigg Boss. I have always admired Salman for his sense of self and business – never said anything disrespectful to him.”
The entrepreneur further added, “My deal numbers are always correct (bank/auditor verified). Met Salman in an exclusive meeting on the brand collab for 3 hours at JW Marriott Juhu in May 2019 – along with the director of advertising (it Well if that’s not what I remember – I was not a public person then – he meets a lot of people) The invitation to come as a guest on Bigg Boss was not ‘anonymous’ – just like a check for the same.”
For those unaware, Salman Khan was brought on board as the face of BharatPe in 2019 while Ashneer Grover was still leading the company. However, in a podcast last year, Grover had revealed that he had reduced Salman’s fee from Rs 7.5 crore to Rs 4.5 crore, comparing it to the process of bargaining for vegetables in the market. He also said that Salman’s team refused to let him take photos with the actor.
She then wrote about a photo she shared with the superstar, “And finally I have a photo with him – which I haven’t seen before”, and ended by saying, “Thank you @BeingSalmanKhan keep up the amazing work! (sic) “

Weekend Ka Vaar episode on 17th NovemberKhan asked Grover about his comments regarding him being reportedly approached by the BharatPe team to become the brand ambassador. The Dabangg actor clarified that he never had a personal meeting with Grover and only came to know about his name through the Bigg Boss team.
Salman said, “I saw a video of yours in which you were seen making some claims and shooting some figures that you have signed me by paying a certain amount, all this is not true. And it is wrong to make such a misconception.”

When Grover tried to explain his comments made on the podcast, the actor said, “The way you are talking to me now, this was not your attitude when you were speaking about me in your video clip ” Grover further apologized, saying, “Sorry sir, if you feel that way. That was not my intention.”
