Actor Shatrughan Sinha spoke on the “pre-wedding controversies” surrounding his daughter Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding to actor Zaheer Iqbal. The actor said that whatever controversies had cropped up have been resolved now. The veteran actor also confirmed that he and his wife Poonam Sinha will participate in Sonakshi’s wedding festivities and will attend the wedding reception on the evening of June 23.

“No one from my family has said anything about the wedding. Too much importance is being given to a private family matter.” Weddings happen in everybody’s home Shatrughan Sinha said, “There is marriage in everyone’s family.” Times Now,

He said there was some “tension” earlier regarding his daughter’s wedding. “Quarrels before marriage are also common. We are all fine now. Whatever tension there was, it has been resolved,” the ‘Shaan’ actor assured.

Confirming the presence of the family at Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding, the 77-year-old actor said, “Yes, my wife and I will be a part of the ceremony on June 23.” He also revealed that Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding reception will be held on June 23.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s pre-wedding rituals have begun. After a family dinner at Zaheer’s house, the couple hosted a mehendi ceremony, pictures of which were shared by their friends on social media. Apart from this, pictures of Ramayan at Sonakshi’s house decorated with lights before the wedding were also widely shared on social media.

Shatrughan Sinha’s close friend Shashi Ranjan gave an update on the actor’s upcoming wedding. He told ETimes, “Sonakshi is getting married to the man she loves. Everyone is attending, and Shatru ji’s brother is flying in from the US for the wedding. The registered marriage will take place at Zaheer Iqbal’s house. It’s a very happy moment for me and the family.”

Sonakshi and Zaheer announced their wedding with a quirky invitation card, which jokingly stated, “The rumours were true.”
