Sharvari Wagh pens a gratitude note for her on-screen guru John Abraham on Guru Purnima
Actress Sharvari Wagh wrote a note for her on-screen teacher John Abraham on the occasion of Guru Purnima.

On the occasion of Guru Purnima, actress Sharvari Wagh shared a poster of her upcoming film Veda and expressed gratitude to her on-screen ‘guru’ (teacher) John Abraham. Directed by Nikkhil Advani, the film is an action thriller in which John’s character Abhimanyu trains Sharvari’s Veda in boxing.
Sharing the new poster of her and John’s film, Sharvari wrote on Instagram, “Abhimanyu Sir, you are the only person in my world who never made any difference. You are my Guru who supported me, taught me how to fight, taught me the ways of the world, right and wrong and made me a fighter. You showed me the way to fight against injustice, not to tolerate injustice. You are my inspiration, and of Ved like me! Today on the day of Guru Purnima, this fighter Veda promises to you that this war that I have started against injustice, I will fight till the end and will win. Your disciple, Ved (Thus).”

It translates to, “Abhimanyu Sir, you are the only person in my world who never discriminated. You are my teacher who supported me, taught me to fight, taught me about the traditions of the world and right and wrong and made me a warrior. You did not tolerate injustice, but you showed the way to fight against injustice. You are an inspiration to me and many Vedas like me! Today, on the day of Guru Purnima, I promise you, this warrior Veda will fight and win this war against injustice. Your disciple, Veda.”

Directed by Nikkhil Advani and written by Aseem Arora, Ved is co-produced by Zee Studios, Emme Entertainment and JA Entertainment. It will release in theatres on the occasion of Independence Day.
