Share Market Update: Nifty Bank Index comes 0.37%

New Delhi: The Nifty Bank Index closed on a negative note on Tuesday.

Axis Bank Ltd. (1.06 percent increase), Indusind Bank Ltd. (1.01 percent increase), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. The day ended as a top gain in the pack in the stock of (0.61 percent increase) and Canara Bank (0.06 percent) shares.

On the other hand, IDFC First Bank Ltd. (1.24 percent below), AU Small Finance Bank Ltd. (0.86 percent below), ICICI Bank Ltd. (0.83 percent below), Federal Bank Ltd. (0.8 percent below) and HDFC Bank Ltd.

The Nifty Bank Index closed 0.37 percent at 56629.1.

The benchmark NSE Nifty 50 index expired to 1.05 points at 25104.25, while the BSE Sensex was at 82391.72 below 53.49 points.

      In 50 stocks of the Nifty Index, ended at 27 green, while 23 closed in red.

      Shares of Reliance Power, Vodafone Idea, JP Power, Suzlon Energy and Yes Bank were one of the highest trading shares on the NSE.
