Global pop icon Shakira was initially designed to open a 2025 Fenway concert series on Thursday, 29 May, while Country Music Superstar Jason Aldian and Brooks & Dun were scheduled to perform on Friday, 30 May.

Concert promoter Live Nation confirmed a brief statement on Thursday afternoon, “Due to unexpected circumstances, Shakira and Jason Aldian and Brooks & Dun Show were initially set on 29 May and 30 May, respectively, which has been canceled in the fenway park respectively. The refund will be released by you at the point of purchase.
No more information was given, and the reason for the cancellation of the final-minute is not yet clear.
Set the phase, but no show
