After Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan has also received death threats from Chhattisgarh. According to reports, Bandra Police Station received a call in which the actor was threatened and a demand of Rs 50 lakh was made. Soon after this shocking news made headlines, Shah Rukh’s fans took to social media and defended his decision of not meeting him on his balcony on his birthday this year.
Every year, Shah Rukh Khan comes to the balcony of his Mumbai home Mannat to greet fans who wait to catch a glimpse of him during his birthday. But unlike every year, this time on November 2, the roads near his home remained empty as heavy security prevented people from gathering.
Some time ago, the news of King Khan receiving a threatening call from an unknown person had worried his fans. Soon after, he took to X (formerly Twitter) and defended his decision to not meet his excited fans on his birthday this year. Some people also expressed concern about Shahrukh’s safety.
In his tweet, a user wrote, “Now this is shocking Shahrukh people that it was probably the best decision of Shahrukh not to come to his balcony on his birthday. Nothing is more important to us than their safety. Stay safe and take care @iamsrk.”
Another wrote, “LOL That’s right SRK stopped coming to the balcony this year. He will not give priority to his life over his fans. “Some of you need to get real.”
The third said that like Salman Khan, Shahrukh’s security should also be increased.
In his post, a user appealed to King Khan’s fans to remain strong. He said, “My dearest #ShahRukhKhan fans stay strong SRKIANS. You all are very lovely and God is with you, there is no need to worry. Everything will be fine soon!! Stay safe @iamsrk sir you are a person who teaches everyone to live with love. Lots of love and we are with you.”
