Actor Shah Rukh Khan on Saturday addressed the Global Peace Honors 2025 event in Mumbai, delivering a speech paying tribute to the victims of the 26/11 terror attack, Pahalgam terror attack and the recent Delhi blasts. The event brought together public figures and citizens to remember those killed in the tragic attacks and recognize the role of security personnel in protecting the nation. Khan’s participation highlighted the ongoing public conversation about peace and unity amid recent incidents of violence in India.

In a video shared by ANI, Shah Rukh Khan said, “My humble tribute to the innocent people who lost their lives in 26/11 terrorist attack, Pahalgam terrorist attack and recent Delhi blasts and my respectful salute to our brave security personnel who were martyred in these attacks.” The audience applauded the actor’s comments, reflecting their collective grief and respect for the victims and security forces.

Khan stressed the need for solidarity and unity among citizens and recited lines encouraging pride in the country’s defenders. He said, “Today I have been asked to recite these four beautiful lines for the brave soldiers and soldiers of the country… When someone asks you what you do, say proudly that I protect the country. If someone asks you how much you earn, smile a little and say, I earn from the blessings of 1.4 billion people. And if they turn around and ask you again, are you never afraid? Look into the eyes of those who attack us and say, They realize this…Let us all move towards peace. Let us forget caste, creed, discrimination and humanity around us so that the martyrdom of our heroes does not go in vain. If there is peace among us, no one can shake India.

Reiterating the central message, he said, “Let us all together take steps towards peace.” Through these comments, Khan underlined the importance of leaving division behind and embracing collective progress for peace. His speech focused on respecting those affected by violence and stressed the importance of unity for national resilience.
