Shahrukh hates love stories, his favorite film from the heart: Director Nikhil Advani
Contrary to popular belief, superstar Shah Rukh Khan is not fond of love stories. At least that’s what director-producer Nikhil Advani lightly claimed in a recent interview.

This may come as somewhat of a surprise to his die-hard fans, but superstar Shah Rukh Khan is not much for love stories. Yes, you read that right. Apparently, this is true as director-producer Nikhil Advani had recently claimed the same during an interview and said, “Shah Rukh hates love stories.”
Speaking on the podcast, Cyrus says, Nikhil said, “There were times when Shah Rukh and I had this conversation that ‘Karan and Adi (producer Aditya Chopra) only make love stories, we should do something different.’ Admitting that he is known as King Khan and the King of Romance, Shahrukh hates love stories, he keeps talking about his favorite scenes from the films Hey Ram and Darr. He loves his film Ram Jaane, in which he is wearing a headband.
“This was Shahrukh Khan’s habit. Whenever Karan or Adi would sing him a new song and tell him about the plan of shooting it in Switzerland etc., he would always come back and say that the other film was better. He used to do this continuously. ,’ said the director.
During the interview, Nikhil Advani also revealed that it was Shah Rukh who choreographed the iconic basketball sequence of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and said, “Even when you watch Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham dekhte At the beginning of the film, he gets credit for the thrill because he made the basketball sequence in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai look like an action scene.
Talking about the work front, Shahrukh Khan was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s film Dunky. He has Sujoy Ghosh’s King in the pipeline, where he will be seen sharing screen space with his daughter and actor Suhana Khan.
