Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is now gearing up for his much-awaited film King. Shah Rukh will be seen alongside his daughter, actress Suhana Khan, actor Abhishek Bachchan and Munjya actor Abhay Verma in the Sujoy Ghosh directorial. Pinkvilla has been reporting about its star cast for quite some time now. Shah Rukh was spotted at the Mumbai airport on Friday (August 9) and the superstar was seen heading to an unknown location while leaving the airport.
In one of the pictures, Shah Rukh Khan is seen getting out of his car. He looks extremely cool in his casual look. The superstar is wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans and paired it with an orange hoodie.
Shahrukh tied his hair and wore black glasses. Shahrukh also had a brown sling bag hanging on his shoulders, which was attracting the attention of the people at the airport.
In another photo, the 58-year-old star can be seen getting his documents verified at the departure check-in area. Shah Rukh’s manager Pooja Dadlani accompanied him to the airport.

On August 8, Shah Rukh Khan made headlines as Deepika Padukone celebrated 11 years of Chennai Express. Deepika posted a behind-the-scenes video from the sets of the 2013 film. In the clip, Shah Rukh calls his co-star Deepika “Singham 5” and the two strike Ajay Devgn’s (Bajirao Singham) signature pose in the film.
A source close to the development of King told Pinkvilla that the makers have finalised the script of the upcoming film and have identified shooting locations in India and abroad.
The source added, “The production team is now in the final stages of bringing on board the entire cast comprising Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan as they aim to take the film on the floors from November 2024.”
Filmmaker Siddharth Anand is producing Shah Rukh’s full-fledged action film King. Shah Rukh was last seen in the lead role in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki in 2023, starring Taapsee Pannu alongside him.
