Celebrity wedding photographer and founder of Wedding Filmer, Vishal Punjabi, recently opened up about working with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. In a recent interview, Vishal said that Shah Rukh is ‘one of the best editors’ and edits every film he works on.

“He (Shah Rukh Khan) was much younger than I expected. You imagine him to be big, but he was a little smaller, although very mysterious and charming. When I saw him for the first time, I was thinking, ‘Is this it?’ Because you expect him to be big”, Vishal told DJ Simz.

Vishal wrote a letter to Shah Rukh Khan expressing his desire to work with him. After this, the ‘Jawan’ actor gave Vishal the opportunity to design a website for a Bollywood portal. After this, Vishal joined Shah Rukh’s production company Red Chillies Entertainment.

During the same interview, Vishal recalled the days of working with Shahrukh. He said, “He was really a good mentor. He guided me very well and taught me everything about cinema. I worked with him for 10 years before starting my own company.”

He further added, “Shah Rukh is one of the best editors I have worked with. He edits every film of his while he is shooting and acting in it. He sits with the editor and watches every scene. The amount of work he does is unbelievable.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan’s recent blockbuster film was ‘Jawaan’ starring Deepika Padukone, Priyamani and others. He will next be seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘King’. The upcoming film will also feature his daughter Suhana Khan in a key role.

Recently, Amitabh Bachchan has confirmed the role of his son Abhishek Bachchan. He shared a post on X and wished him all the best. The shooting of ‘King’ is expected to begin later this year and it may hit the screens in 2025.
