The 1993 romantic thriller Baazigar starring Shah Rukh Khan has become a cult classic and remains popular today. In an exciting update, it has been revealed that Shahrukh Khan is in talks for Baazigar 2.

Reportedly, producer Ratan Jain has recently hinted at working on a sequel.

In a recent interview with etimesProducer Ratan Jain revealed Discussion with Shahrukh Khan about Baazigar The sequel is underway. He mentioned that although the script is not finalized yet, he intends to go ahead with the film only if Shahrukh agrees to play the lead role.

Jain also shared that there is an interesting concept for the sequel, but he stressed the need for a ‘compelling’ script and ‘fresh’ direction. He wants to ensure that the film lives up to the high standards set by the original.

Ratan Jain said, “We keep talking to Shahrukh about Baazigar 2, but nothing much has happened yet, but it will definitely be made.”
