Akshay and Anand L Rai have also worked together in the film Atrangi Re. However, neither Zero, nor Atrangi Re nor Raksha Bandhan did well at the box office. Shah Rukh took a four-year break after Zero, which also starred Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, which was poorly received by film critics and audiences.
