Sha’Carri’s American flag-themed nails are beauty goals at the Paris Olympics
American track and field athlete Sha’Carri Richardson will make her debut at the 2024 Paris Olympics today. The reigning 100m world champion, she will compete against Jamaican duo Shericka Jackson and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce. Sha’Carri’s reputation extends far beyond her sporting victories. The athlete brings her unique style to the track every time she takes to the track. From interesting hairstyles to bright nails, her style can give fashion models a run for their money. In fact, her beautifully manicured nails are always the talk of the town. They are decorated with intricate details and vibrant colours, often matching her athletic kit and sometimes the event.
At the Paris Olympics, Sha’Carri Richardson showed us another impressive nail art that kept her American spirit alive. She chose to go for a ballerina manicure, painting her pointed but slightly pointed nails in the bright colors of the American flag, red, white and blue. The little fingers were adorned with bright golden embellishments.

This time, she used the Jamaican flag, as her family comes from the Caribbean island. Her square-shaped nails were painted pink, as well as green and gold. Her nails had eye-catching jewel decorations, giving them a beautiful shine.
Talking about her first beauty memory in a conversation with Nylon, Sha’Carri Richardson said, “I grew up in a house full of women, so my first beauty memory is seeing my family members always well-dressed. They always presented themselves well and maintained their personal styles, beauty routines, and hair rituals.”
