Seventeen’s Yoon Jeonghan will enlist in the second half of 2024

Seventeen’s Jeonghan will begin his mandatory military service in late 2024. Another member, Jun, will also focus on acting opportunities in China.

Seventeen members will soon begin enlisting in the South Korean army for mandatory military service. The first member of the group to enlist will be Yoon Jeong-han, better known as Jeonghan.

According to a new statement released by his agency Pledis Entertainment, Jeonghan will be skipping the promotions of his 12th mini-album as he will be serving in the military during that time.

According to the statement shared by Pledis Entertainment, “Jeonghan is scheduled to fulfill his military obligation in the second half of 2024. Although Jeonghan has already filmed most of the content, he will not be able to participate in promotional activities for the 12th mini album and the SEVENTEEN (Right Here) World Tour starting in October.”

As previously announced, the musician will meet fans at a fan signing event and Lollapalooza Berlin.

Not only that, the members will also be in China in the second half of the year Jun to pursue acting and other opportunities. They will be absent from the Lollapalooza Berlin performance and music show performances for the 12th mini-album and Seventeen (Right Here) World Tour.

Seventeen is a 13-member group consisting of SCoops, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The 8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino.

In addition to their upcoming album release and world tour, SEVENTEEN has been actively involved in various initiatives and performances. On June 26, SEVENTEEN was appointed UNESCO’s first Goodwill Ambassadors for Youth, underscoring their commitment to empowering youth and promoting cultural exchange through their #GoingTogether campaign.

They also headlined the Glastonbury Festival in the UK this year, becoming the first K-pop group to do so.
