Selena Gomez’s pop-up show to celebrate the fifth anniversary of her Rare album has been postponed due to the Los Angeles wildfires. The actress-singer’s management team released a statement mentioning that they are devastated by the situation; It is important for the team to prioritize the safety of everyone who participates and shows their love for the album and Gomez.

The Monte Carlo actress reposted the statement on her Instagram Story and shared that more details about the event will be released soon with new dates.

The statement further read, “The safety and well-being of our team and community is a top priority and with that in mind, we in partnership with Complex have decided to postpone Rare: The Pop-Up. The original dates of the event were set for January 10–12, and it was held to celebrate Rare’s album, which topped the charts and reached number one on the Billboard 200.

Additionally, Gomez shared several links on her Instagram stories to help provide shelter and basic amenities to those affected.
