The report further states that when Sebi’s investigation in Jane Street is widespread and takes time in conclusion, there is no possibility of stimulating any major impact of market-wide impact.
Following Sebi’s recent steps to control speculative trade, a retail partnership in the F&O segment has been central. However, about 90% of investors are still going to be damaged, the report said.

On Thursday, Market Watch Cha Dog issued a 105 -page order to impose remaining extensive interim sanctions on Jane Street. Jane Street entities are completely restricted from entering securities markets and are directly or indirectly forbidding to buy, sell or deal with securities.
The regulator will pay Rs. 4,843.57 crore was also ordered, Jane Street needed to deposit the amount in the escrow account with a lien in favor of Sebi. All bank accounts, demat accounts and custodial accounts are stable, no debit is allowed without SEBI permission (though credits can be accepted).
Unless illegal benefits are deposited in the escrow account, no one can dispose of or disperse in India.
Sebi has given Jane Street 21 days to file objections and may request a personal hearing. Interim restrictions are implemented to SEBI’s further orders.
Meanwhile, stock exchanges have been directed by Jane Street to closely monitor any future transaction, so that they are not involved in manipulative activities using the pattern called in the order.

“Jane Street is committed to compliance with all the rules of the regions we operate worldwide,” Pay FIRM said in a response to Reuters. “Jane Street disputes the findings of Sebi’s interim order and will join the regulator more.”
