Despite these challenges, Steyn approached the role with a deeply personal approach. Reflecting on his own immigrant experience, he said, “I had a personal connection to the American dream because I came to this country from Romania when I was 12, and my father helped people escape illegal immigration. Was. I had heard all about the American dream and to this day I am still trying to figure out what that dream is and what it gives us and what it takes away. It took away any fear about doing it because that’s what it was.”

Stan collaborated closely with Abbasi, whose outsider perspective shaped the project. “(Abbasi) is a European who fled Iran, who is fearless and whose last film was about his previous country, he is coming here with a new perspective, not wanting to play for any team, Just removing all judgment.”

Stein delved into the psyche of the controversial figure, saying, “Can we try to figure out who this guy (Trump) is? What lies beneath this character? And when you peel back the layers, you get to the core of a powerless child who is acting out the kind of revenge that we’ve all had to deal with in the end.

Actor Colman Domingo, who was also at the roundtable for his film Sing Sing, praised Stan’s performance, saying, “When I saw what you (Stan) did, I thought, ‘Oh, he (Stan) No decision has been taken regarding this. I thought it was extraordinary because everyone has an opinion about him, but you’re like, ‘No, I’m going to work on the soul.’
