In a striking development on the day of the federal test of the scene “Didi” Combes, his defense team openly admitted the incidents of domestic violence between music Mogul and his ex-girlfriend Kaisa Ventura-but argued that misuse was mutual.
A stressful exchange was observed before the prosecutor Emily Anne Johnson and Raksha Attorney Mark Agnifilo in the ongoing trial in a federal court in New York City. As the court navigates the boundaries of acceptable testimony, Raksha revealed its strategy – one that does not deny misuse, but redefinously defines it mutually again.
The conversation began when Johnson informed the judge that the primary witness of the prosecution referred to as the victim 1 and would not be questioned on some medical issues. Judge Subramanian said that if the prosecution brings out the subjects related to the prosecution, defense will be allowed to give types of answers.
Agifilo then told the court, “Defense was a mutual violence in their relationship,” saying that both sides were engaged in physical change. “We’re going to accept domestic violence completely,” they continued, “but at what point it becomes strong?” Judge Subramanian sought clarification, asking if the defense trend was that the couple was violent only with each other. Agifilo confirmed, “It is right. We are saying that it is relevant.”
In response, Johnson said that she would formally address the issue with a letter in court. He also revealed the plan to introduce major visual evidence including two cellphones videos and corrected the CNN footage of the 2016 incident, in which Didi was recorded by defeating Kaisi Kaisa at Los Angeles’ Intercontinental Hotel.
The decision to protect violence by moving the story towards shared faulty marks a controversial legal maneuver – a one that can shape public perception and test results. As the proceedings continue, all eyes are fixed on the court room and high-west testimony is still coming.
