Finn Wolfhard opened up about his dream of taking the Saturday Night Live stage before landing a role in the Saturday Night Movie. In a conversation with People Magazine, the actor reflected on his role and also elaborated on his dream debut on the comedy sketch show.
Sharing details, the actor claimed that if given a chance, he would recreate the one-moment underground rock festival sketch he is known for his rapping skills.
While sitting for an interview with the media portal, the actor mentioned, “They were the hosts of this awesome metal festival, and they would do themed commercials announcing the lineup.”
He continued, “I was watching it recently and I thought it was so funny because it’s basically an excuse to name a bunch of random bands. I think bringing that sketch back was really cool.” It’ll be fun.”
Meanwhile one guest he would like to have present during his show is an indie rock band or a 90’s alt band. As for the Stranger Things star’s role in the Saturday Night Movie, Wolfhard will play NBC’s Page, while the film is directed by Jason Reitman.
