Sardar 2 Teaser: Karthi took ‘Black Dagger’ SJ Surya in the sequel of PS Mithran
The teaser of Sardar 2, starring Karthi, was unveiled at Eid 2025. The clip introduced SJ Surya as the main opposition, which takes the Indian detective Sardar played by Karthi.
The much awaited teaser for the sequel of 2022 blockbuster Sardar was released on Eid 2025. Directed by PS Mithran, in Sardar 2, Tamil actor Karthi reiterated his dual roles as sharp roles as fast-paced Indian detective Sardar and his son, Inspector Prakash. This time, he faces SJ Surya’s character, against the ‘Black Dagger’, who is a combined enemy threatening war against India.
Sardar 2 – A high -octane action sequence has been set in the teaser with a prologue title which appears to be a monastery in Japan Cut off To take down a Japanese chieftains and his men. Throughout the teaser, the character of SJ Surya has been raised against Karthi, which indicates a cat-and-race game between Sardar and Black Dagger to protect the country from a fully developed war.

Directed by PS Mithran, who earned praise for the freshness of the first installment, Sardar is set to expand on the detective story that fascinated the audience 2 years ago. Teaser has held significant discussions on social media, in which fans have expressed their expectations for the release of the film. While no official release date has been announced yet, Sardar 2 is expected to be a hit in theaters later this year.
The film also includes Rajisha Vijayan, Malavika Mohanan, Ashika Ranganath, and Sojol Ahmed, supporting roles in other roles. Sam is composing music for CS film, while cinematography is controlled by George C Williams. High-octain action film is being produced under Banners Prince Pictures and Ivy Entertainment.
Actor Karthi was last seen in the role of a cameo in his brother Suria’s Kangwa. He last played the lead role in See Prem Kumar’s Meejhagan with Arvind Swamy. Meanwhile, SJ Surya was last seen in the recently released Tamil film Veera Dhara Sorran, in which Vikram played the lead role.
