The release of Ajay Devgan and Mrinal Thakur’s much awaited comedy-drama, ‘son of Sardar 2’ has been postponed. Originally to release on 25 July, the film is now ready to hit the screen on August 1, 2025. Filmmakers have not disclosed the cause of this delay, which was declared less than a week less than the initial release date.
The announcement of the new release date was with a fresh campaigner poster, stating, “Laughter riot got just a new date. The son of Sardar 2 will now be released in theaters worldwide on 1 August 2025 (SIC).”
