Actor Sara Michelle Gailer will allegedly resume her prestigious role as Bafi Summer in a greenlight sequel of the show for the OTT platform Hulu.

The Oscar-Vigner Cloo Jhao is ready to direct the show, which will be co-written by Nora and Lila Zuckerman. The reboot has been ordered from the 20th television and searchlight TV.

According to reports, it is unlikely that the original artist members will return. The next installment will be Bankerol by Gail Burman and Fran Kujui and Kaj Kujui of Jacquel Group by Gailer, Zhao, Nora and Lila Zuckerman. Dolly Partan has been informed to produce the show’s pilot.

However, Bafi manufacturer Jose Whadan will not join the team in any capacity due to allegations of misconduct. Whadan was the one who wrote the 1992 film on which the show was based.

Sara Michelle Gailer is currently seen in the show, Dexter: Original Sin. Earlier, she appeared in Netflix’s dark comedy, do revival.
