Bollywood actor Sara Ali Khan is distraught with Uttarkashi CloudBust, causing flash floods and lost at least four people. Rescue teams of police, army, NDRF and SDRF were deployed.

Sara Ali Khan shared a message on Instagram, in which read, “My heart goes out for everyone affected by the incident in Uttarakhand. Praying for safety, strength and treatment for all (SIC).”

Khan, who has a personal relationship with the region due to filming his first film ‘Kedarnath’, also provided emergency contact numbers to support relief operations on his Instagram stories. “Uttarkashi District Emergency Operation Center has released the following emergency numbers: 01374222126, 01374222722, 945656431 (SIC), read the message.

The high altitude villages of Uttarkashi have been killed disastrous with flash floods in Dharli area on Tuesday. The tragic incident resulted in at least four casualties and many houses, hotels and houses were destroyed.

Despite adverse weather and challenging terrain, rescue teams have saved 70 persons till date. The operation faced significant obstacles due to continuous rains. It echoes the previous disasters in the disaster sector, such as Kedarnath flood in 2013.

A major stagnation for those traveling to Gangotri has caused widespread damage, many inhabitants are feared to be trapped under debris and mud. The local community is in crisis, the flash is fighting after the flood.
