In short

  • ‘Siara’ earned 20 crores on day 1 with minimum promotion
  • Yash Raj Films avoided general pre-respective interviews and media rounds
  • Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta praised this latest marketing approach

In an era where film promotion often spreads to oversexposer, ‘Seyara Ke’ calm confidence has given rise to a conversation. Ahaan Pandey -Aneet Padda starrer hit theaters in theaters with a collection of Rs 20 crore -without pre -reigns interviews, media rounds, or podcast appearances without a normal barrage. And filmmaker Sanjay Gupta is here for this.

The director of ‘Kate’ praised the team behind Yash Raj Films, especially Yash Raj Films, to convince the norms of the industry. He wrote, “Whoever decided in the YRRF to keep Siara’s major pair away from pre–existence interviews, shows and podcasts, he is a talented,” he wrote. His post on X said, “He kept especially freshness alive for the big screen. And see how it works (SIC).”

The film opened on 18 July for a heavy response. The decision to release general marketing blitz is closed to pay, walking with curiosity instead of pre-constructed raids with the audience.

Sanjay Gupta did not criticize the long -standing dependence of the industry on overpromration. In another post, he wrote, “The film business was running smoothly. Then the corporates came and tried to write the rules again … one of his biggest screw-ups was P&A (promotion and advertisement). It was purely for looted producers (SIC),” suggesting that the pressure for heavy publicity expenses has often hurt more.

He attracted a sharp contrast with South Indian film industries, with a long priority on the noise of the campaign. “South never followed dumb P&A practice. They just corrected. More. And then films like ’12th Failure’ and ‘Sayara’ come – straight in theaters. There is no hits with smash hits. Can we learn our lesson?” He insisted.
