Former tennis player Sania Mirza said that if ever a biopic is made on her with Shah Rukh Khan or Akshay Kumar, she would like to play herself. Sania was one of the guests on the latest episode of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ on Netflix. She was accompanied by boxer Mary Kom, badminton player Saina Nehwal and sharpshooter Sifat Kaur.

Sania spoke to host Kapil Sharma about the possibility of her biopic. When Kapil told Sania that Priyanka Chopra played Mary Kom and her cousin Parineeti Chopra played Saina in her biopic, Sania joked, “Does he have any sister left? (Are there any (Chopra) sisters left?)” She added, “No, I think there are many good actors in our country. Any one is fine. Or maybe I should play the role myself.”

Kapil reminded Sania that Shah Rukh Khan had once said that he would like to play her boyfriend in a biopic. Sania, who recently got divorced from Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik, became uncomfortable for a moment. Then she said, “But I have to find a boyfriend first.”

She said, “If Shah Rukh Khan does the film, I can play the role myself. And if Akshay Kumar is in it, I will definitely play the role.”

Talking about personal life, Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik are heading towards divorce recently. The statement issued by the family said, “Sania has always kept her personal life away from the public eye. However, today she felt the need to tell that it has been a few months since she and Shoaib got divorced. She wishes Shoaib all the best for his new journey.”
