Well, what you know, Samsung has done it. After years of chasing Polish and refinement, Samsung is finally giving some long -awaited pomp at the foldable phone party. At this point, it seems that it is making foldable phones forever and yet, it seems that the needle is barely gone, while in the meantime, the competition is not only caught, but can say anything, beaten Samsung in his game. Today, Samsung has truly given a triple salvo with three new foldable devices – Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE – all designed to jumpstart the space and their own ambitions to make the space more accessible and thrilling. And what is worth it, what it looks like, it has killed all the correct notes.

Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 Flip 7 Flip 7 Flip 7 Flip 7 Flip 7 Flip 7 Fe Mark announced in the Galaxy Unpacked July 2025, “A new Ira of the Galaxy Z series also mixes them for the most complete technology for the most complete technology. Two-Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7-have been specially ultra-portable and long-lasting engineer. For that effect, they are the thinnest, lightest and – per Samasung – the most durable foldables that have been built anytime.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7: Samsung Galaxy S25 Lighter than Ultra

The Galaxy Z fold 7 especially stands out because benefits – or rather, are trimming – sufficient. The numbers speak for themselves. Guna 7 is 24 grams lighter than 7 outgoing folds 6. It weighs only 215 grams, that is, it is lighter than the Galaxy S25 Ultra which is 218 grams. At the same time, it measures only 8.9 mm when folded – which is 3.2 mm thinner than the fold 6. When appearing, it is 4.2 mm which makes it diluted about 1.4 mm compared to fold 6. Samsung claims that the whole thing feels “less than a big time of chocolate”. It is not thin or lighter than the Honor Magic V5-currently the world’s thinnest and lightest book-style is foldable-but the difference is marginal and Samsung enjoys a more global appeal as a brand. Magic V5 is not available in India for example, so it does not really matter to the consumer how thin, light or better it is. But we digest.

Tight dimensions clearly are results under certain materials and hood changes. On the cover glass, for example, Samsung Corning Gorilla Glass is using Ceramic 2, which has also been seen on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge display. Kaj, called Kavach Flexing, now stops thin while its “advanced armor” aluminum frame keeps everything together in more firm and solid way. The back has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Samsung is not covering any new ground on IP rating, although in the IP48, fold is like 6. This means that it can tolerate dust up to 1 mm and immerse up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes, as per tech parlance, but often the case, dust and water damage is not covered under warranty.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 has large screens both inside and outside. The main foldable display is now 8-inch, so you can think more on the lines of a perfect square (Samsung Touts has improved uses such as side photo editing) while a 6.5-inch has become a 6.5-inch on the outside which translates to “very regular smartphone-like” 21: 9. A particularly interesting thing about fold 7 is that Samsung has retired the under-display selfie camera seen from inside on the previous model and has replaced it with a proper hole-pan cutout and hence it can offer better resolution (up to 10-megapixels) and expected that better quality. Speaking about, the main camera on the back is also upgraded to a beefier 200-megapixel, probably the same deal on the Galaxy S25 Edge and even the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The remaining cameras appear unchanged-megapixel ultravide, 10-megapixel 3x telephoto, and another 10-megapixel selfie shooter on the cover.

The fold 7 blocks, aka, are powered by the fastest Qualcomm chip for Galaxy on the Snapdragon 8 elite. RAM can go up to 16GB and storage up to 1TB. The battery is similar to 7: 4,400mAh. Wired charging is overshadowed at 25W. Wireless charging is also available.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 Break Cover, ‘FE’ brings strength

Flip 7 comes with its set of improvement on almost every front, which is one of the most notable and comprehensive upgrades we have seen since installation on these phones. As this idea is on 7, it is that it should be made even more poketeable and thanks to some clever engineering, Samsung was able to cut the chassis by about 0.4 mm. Flip 7 measures 6.5 mm when it is clearly “about the width of a pencil.” The main performance is now larger at 6.9-inch (vs 6.7- Flip 6). The real star upgrade however comes out. The cover display is again designed to wrap around the cameras to give you a more immersive 4.1 inch screen.

Powering Flip 7 is Samsung’s new Exynos 2500 processor, with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. The battery is larger-flip 6 at -4,300 mAh, while for photography, it has a 50-megapixel wide and 12-megapixel ultravide and another 10-megapixel camera for selfie. Like fold 7, Flip 7 is also IP48 rated. It uses the front and back corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 with an aluminum frame.

Final but not at least, Flip 7 is included by a more affordable Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fe which is basically a galaxy Z flip 6 with Exynos 2400 chip and 4,000mAh battery.

Pre-orders for the new Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE are already running, with open sales start from July 25.

Samsung is offering blue shadow, silver shadow, jet black and an online-exclusive mint color offering the Galaxy Z fold 7. Pricing for the base 12GB + 256GB model starts at Rs 1,74,999. The 12GB + 512GB version is priced at Rs 1,86,999, while the top-end 16GB + 1TB model is priced at Rs 2,10,999.

Galaxy Z Flip 7 is available in two storage variants: 12GB + 256GB 1,09,999 and 12GB + 512GB for Rs 1,21,999.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fe also comes in two variants: 8GB + 128GB 89,999, and 8GB + 256GB for Rs 95,999.

Samsung is bundling with a six -month free Google AI Pro access and Galaxy Z fold 7 with 2TB cloud storage. Buyers can also opt for Samsung Care+, which provides extended protection for casual damage, repair and replacement. In addition, the company has introduced the new Galaxy Club, which is aimed at users who want to be updated with the latest Galaxy devices.
