Samsung is likely to launch its first tri-folded phone by the end of 2025
Exactly a day after the Galaxy Unpacked event, the fresh report confirms that the three-fold phone is very real and is expected to be launched by the end of 2025.

Samsung’s Big July Unpacked Event may have introduced a bunch of new foldables (Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7 and Flip 7 FE) and Smartwatch (Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic), but there was a tool that had its own eye on many fans – and it never made an appearance. The company was expected to be teased in the event for a long time of the company, aka the Galaxy G fold, but Samsung chose not to talk about it. However, it did not discuss. Now, exactly a day after the showcase, the latest report confirms that the Tri-Guuna phone is very real and is expected to be launched by the end of 2025. And this time, the confirmation comes directly from the top.
As Korea TimesSamsung’s mobile boss, TM ROH has officially confirmed that the company is actively working on a three-folding phone. Speaking to select journalists after the unpacked event, he revealed that Samsung is planning to release the device later this year. He said that the company focuses on fulfilling both the product and its purpose, although the name has not yet been decided. This is the first time Samsung has publicly accepted the launch timeline for TRAI-folded phones.
While there is no official image or teaser yet, the earlier leak suggested that the device may have a 10 -inch OLED panel that turns into a compact form twice. It can also run on Snapdragon 8 Elite Chip and can be a price above $ 2,900 (about 2.49 lakh rupees). However, the first-Jeen model may be a limited release, with the report suggests that it may only be launched in South Korea and China initially. A global rollout is likely to be in 2026 only, once the second-je model is prepared.
Back to the unpacked event, Samsung had a lot of other announcements to place the spotlight on its foldable line-up. Both Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 were made official throughout the board with slimmer bodies, bright displays and AI upgrade. Guna 7 is now lighter than the Galaxy S25 Ultra and comes with an 8-inch internal performance. Flip 7 now has a 4.1 -inch cover screen wrapped around the camera and has a large 6.9 -inch internal screen.
Samsung also added a more affordable Galaxy Z Flip 7 Feg in its portfolio – the first for the flip series – bringing the foldable form factor for more users at a low price.
On the weedable side, the Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic were launched with a thin design, new AI-operated health equipment and better battery life. Both watches have also come with Google’s Gemini AI Assistant.
