We are a few days away from Samsung’s next big Galaxy Unpacked event, which is scheduled in New York on 9 July. And while the company has not officially confirmed anything, leaks and rumors have already given us a very clear picture of what is coming. The center of the launch will have the latest addition to the latest addition of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7-SAMSung for its foldable line-up. In the last few weeks, we have seen everything from official looking render to live images of devices, and even some casual accessory listings. What it looks like, this year’s foldables are all about purification.
Let’s start with the Galaxy Z fold 7. Recently, live images of the phone have surfaced online, which show new blue color variants – possibly called blue shadow. This is the same deep shadow we saw in the first leaked render, and now it seems to color the hero for the device. Photos also confirm that the Galaxy Z fold 7 is slimmer than its predecessor. Although we do not have an exact number from these images, previous reports stated that the phone can only be 4.5 mm thicker when revealed – easily the thinnest galaxy z fold the thin galaxy.
Another detail is to note the camera setup. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 has a triple rear camera system that is vertically standing, slightly placed on the lifted island. However, what is changing, the front camera is the approach. The Samsung is digging the under-display selfie camera used in Fold 6, and regularly returning to the cameras on holes on both covers and inner screens.
For glasses, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to pack 6.5 inch cover and 8.2 -inch internal AMOLED display respectively. It will be allegedly operated by Snapdragon 8 Elite Chip, which will be paired with at least 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. There are also rumors of 200-megapixel primary sensor, possibly borrowed from the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Now, Galaxy Z is coming to Flip 7 – it is also leaked in render and expected to get its share of upgrade. The design looks slimmer as compared to Flip 6, and it can also come in a jet black and blue shadow color option as fold. The most noticeable change can be a large external performance, which is rumored to increase from 3.4 inches to about 4 inches. Internal, the phone can be operated by Snapdragon 8 Elite or an exinos 2500 chip at the base of this area.
And then Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fe – Samsung’s first fan edition is foldable. Through a case manufacturer recently, an leak accidentally confirmed the name, and while there are no pictures yet, reports suggest that it will be a more affordable version of Flip, possibly powered by Exynos 2400E.
Samsung is also expected to announce the Galaxy Watch 8 series during the event, including a standard watch 8, a watch 8 classic and a watch Ultra 2. The entire picture will be clear on 9 July – but for now, the leak has definitely kept things exciting.
