Samsung has recently announced its upcoming flagship foldable device – Galaxy Z Fold 7, indicating that the launch is coming to India soon. While the launch dates are still under raps, the company shared that the phone is designed to bring a large performance and a better camera. He said, the first teaser claims that the upcoming fold will offer “ultra experience”. However, based on rumors, this teaser may mean that the Galaxy Z fold 7 will have an ultra variant. But nothing can be certain for now.
But, what is sure? The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 has been confirmed to be launched with a triple-camera setup. Although this release decreases with the naming of the device, the camera indicates a strong emphasis on innovation and indicates foldables as the next major jump in AI-managed mobile photography. Showing a book-style foldable design with a teaser video, it strongly suggests that Samsung is ready to unveil important camera progress with upcoming Z fold 7.
According to Samsung, attention has moved from providing better lenses or sensors to create only a broad imaging experience – a one that basically integrates hardware, software and artificial intelligence into integrated systems.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7: What is expected
On the hardware front, Samsung has revealed that the Galaxy Z fold will maintain a triple-camera system on the fold 7 rear, similar to the fold 6. However, significant promotion is expected, especially with the introduction of a new 200-megapixel main sensor, which can be the same high-end camera in the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S25 Edge. The remaining two lenses are likely to be carried from the previous generation, which are accompanied by the purpose of optimizing AI functionality and promoting overall performance.
In addition, Samsung has indicated that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be its thinnest and strongest foldable handset to date, although the exact dimensions and stability ratings have not yet been revealed. Rumors suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 may have an 8 -inch foldable internal display with a 6.5 -inch cover screen. If it is accurate, it will mark the second year in a row that Samsung has expanded the size of its chief.
Perhaps the most important performance improvement may include the crease of the main screen which may be very less noticeable. Although some reports have also speculated that Samsung can completely eliminate the crease, it is now intelligent to manage expectations. Meanwhile, different leaks indicate that this year is likely to benefit from improving performance.
For the battery, Samsung appears to have a set to maintain the same specifications seen in the previous model. This will translate into a 4,400mAh battery capacity supporting 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. However, with incorporating a new chipset, it is expected to improve battery efficiency, probably expand the use time despite unchanged capacity. He said, “Claiming a large battery with many competitive foldables, more adequate upgrades will definitely be welcomed.”
Fresh leaked images have also shown the Ul Demco Certificates – which have been issued by Denmark’s National Electronics Authority – after the authentication of India’s Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). According to reports, while the minimum charge capacity may be slightly lower at this time, specific capacity should still remain at 4,400mAh.
In terms of storage, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to start from 256GB, with 512GB and 1TB variants available for additional costs. RAM is likely to live on 12GB, conforming to the Galaxy Z fold 6, although many people will welcome an increase of 16GB or more to increase multitasking capabilities and handle growing demands for AI-operated features.
