Keep two sides on two sides and try to balance some of them, as the famous Chinese lecker Ice Universe has done in the video below, and the roles are reversed, as you can see – the fold 7 is clearly 7.
There is no accurate measurement tool, but we can still have a rigorous conclusion: Galaxy Z Fold 7 is the world’s thinnest folding mobile phone.

So what does it give? Well, it is about the pre-E-Edlide Screen Guard on the magic V5, which is not part of the official thickness measurement, but when you buy the phone, there are well, east-lagoo, while Samsung has no such perk.
It just goes to show that how irrelevant is the difference of 0.1 mm thickness in real life, despite loving brands to claim things like “the world’s thinning” and “the lightest in the world”. So please keep this in mind – you won’t feel 0.1 mm and you won’t feel 1 g in real life, thus it makes sense to make your device wearing your device wearing such (sometimes very short) crowns.
